Dianne Lorden
Dianne lives in South Central Pennsylvania and frequently works en plein air on the Gettysburg National Military Park grounds. Here, she is working in pastel at Stephen's Knoll.
Dianne is a member of the Waldo's & Co. art co-operative and Trade Shop, located at 17 Lincoln Square, basement. Her Shamanic Art studio is inside Waldo's, along with several other artists and makers studios and work spaces. She is a member of the Artists Committee there and one of the workshop presenters. She frequently participates in area paint outs and they will be listed on this website when they are scheduled.
Dianne has an Associates Degree in Fine Arts from Morris County Community College; four years of group study with New England egg-tempera-and-oil artist Albert Matzer; and several workshop experiences with Pennsylvania and Maryland artists in pastels, oils and perspective drawing.
Dianne taught adult fine arts in Manchester, Conn.; she offered workshops for the New Jersey Teen Arts Program, Princeton, N.J.; and also held crafting workshops for the Pennsylvania Gourd Society.
Dianne has been a juried artisan with the New York State Renaissance Faire (Renaissance Entertainment Corp.) as the proprietor of Renaissance Portraits.
